JG Afrika
CCRM has provided climate projections using novel approaches, including the use of Self-Organising Maps (SOMs) on all CMIP5 Global Climate Models. We supported this by creating climate risk and impact scenarios for the clients.
ClimaEast
CCRM has provided in-country training workshops in the use of the SWAT modelling tool for vulnerability assessment of water resources under climate change. This was part of a wider project to offer support for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation in Eastern Europe and Russia.
ClimateX
CCRM is working with economists and financial risk specialists at ClimateX to provide bespoke climate change projections to support financial adaptation.
Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF)
We work closely with DFID to prepare climate projections for large-scale engineering projects in Southern Africa, including Nondvo Dam in Swaziland and infrastructure in the Okavango Delta.
Office for Nuclear Regulation
Members of CCRM sit on the Climate Change Expert Committee which provides climate change expertise to support regulatory assessments of climate change and nuclear safety.
